ISLAMABAD: Police arrested a woman, identified as Dr. Shehla Shakeel Sethi, on Sunday for threatening, abusing, and misbehaving with the police officer who stopped her to enter into the diplomatic enclave as her vehicle was missing a number plate, police sources reported.
According to the authorities, “Dr. Sethi is a doctor in the US and had recently returned to Pakistan. She will be presented before the duty magistrate today.”
A video of the woman threatening and abusing the police officer went viral on social media.

On October 20 a case was registered against Dr. Sethi for misbehaving with the police personnel.

An FIR was registered on behalf of Assistant Sub-Inspector Police Tahir Farooq in the Secretariat Police Station. However, she was allowed to go at the time of the incident due to the absence of a woman police officer.
