FAISALABAD: The elder sister of 11-year-old domestic worker Kenza Bashir has apprised on Sunday that the minor was brutally tortured by her employers for at least two years.
In the video, 11-year-old Kenza Bashir could be seen complaining against gruesome treatment by the owners of a house in Rawalpindi.
The owners of the house would beat Kenza Bashir with a waist belt and rope, it emerged in the video of the survivor shared on social media. She was taken back to her native town of Samundari by her father.

While speaking to a private channel, Kenza’s sister said,
“When the brutal torture increased, she ran away from home and went to the neighbours,” Bashir’s sister added.
She further said, “This time she did not want to return home and wanted to study.”

Bashir had been working in the house for a mere Rs5000 per month salary.
The family had already forced Bashir’s father to sign a bond agreement at the time of her appointment, the minor’s uncle told the media.
The family members informed that the police have taken the minor and her family to Rawalpindi for further investigation.
