ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will leave for Malaysia for an official two-day visit on November 20, it was notified on Wednesday.
PM Khan will call on Malaysian counterpart Mahatir Muhammed during his visit to Malaysia, while he will also hold meetings with other state officials. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief will focus on the promotion of economic cooperation between the two sides.
According to reports, Khan will also receive briefing over Malaysia’s model for swift development and discussions would be held on how Pakistan can benefit from Malaysia’s experience and bring about similar prosperity and development.
The PM will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry and Trade Adviser Abdul Razzaq Dawood.
Earlier, PM Khan was scheduled to fly for Malaysia on October 28 which later got delayed.
