The Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) on Wednesday conferred the appreciation award 2018 on Daily Times for the best coverage of the areas the institute had been working this year.
According to details, the SDPI gave the award to the prestigious English newspaper for its excellent coverage of functions, seminars, exhibitions and conferences organised by the institute.
Daily Times Senior Associate Editor Erum Yawar received the award on behalf of the Editor, Raza Rumi and Publisher Shehryar Taseer.
The areas in which the SDPI had been working, included environment, sustainable livelihoods, economy, social sector development goals, research, resilient development programme, governance, gender equality, food security, peace and conflict, human security and information and communications.
