Pakistan and the Financial Action Task Force will hold review talks from Tuesday (January 08) in Sydney. A Pakistani delegation headed by federal finance secretary has already left Islamabad to participate in the talks.
The delegation is carrying a comprehensive implementation report by Pakistan on the earlier recommendations given by the FATF and will share it with the international monitor during the talks.
The Pakistani delegation comprises senior officials from the State Bank of Pakistan, SECP, FIA, NACTA, Ministry of Interior and the Field Monitoring Unit. The talks between Pakistan and the FATF will continue for three days, during which Pakistan’s progress on implementation of FATF’s recommendations would be reviewed.
