Snow has fully covered the entire mountainous series of Galyat known as Nathiagali, Meera Jani and Changla Gali, compelling residents to store necessary food items for their domestic use. The snow layer’s quantity was recorded at least six inches while the lower part of the district was receiving intermittent rain, due to which the entire suburbs had confined themselves at their respective homes.
The traffic flow was observed normal on Silk Route, but pedestrians were disappeared because of severity of chilly weather. Icy winds sabotaged the entire activities of the people; however, the trade centres were opened for each kind of customer but such a situation was prey of lacking.
The Kaghan, Narran valise of Northern area were completely seeing wearing the white carpets, the river kunhar, Jhelum and the Neelum were depicting normal scene of flowing. No flood information has been reported from any hilly area of Hazara.
In addition, the flow of intermittent rain was continuing , while the cold waves has paralyzed lives of the suburbs , the existing foot paths located within the ambit of city expressing deserted look as there was not a single pedestrian person to traverse such path because of cold wave compelled them to stay in door. More rain and snow falling on hill tops was predicted by the local met office. However, no loss of life and property has been reported from the area till falling evening.
