Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday said that the destruction of economy will have a serious impact on the integrity of Pakistan.
The Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly issued a statement in which he expressed that the country’s economy has to improve in order to save Pakistan. He added that the incumbent government has launched a war against the country’s economy, terming Prime Minister Imran Khan as a bomb planted in its root.
Shehbaz Sharif further said that announcing a relief package after the sugar and wheat scandals is a joke to the nation. “If Pakistan is to be saved then its economy has to be tweaked,” he added.
On Feb 11, Prime Minister Imran Khan decided to introduce a relief package of Rs15 billion to tackle the rising inflation and provide aid to poor people of the country.
It was decided that a stern action will be taken against the hoarders and profiteers. The Rs15 billion package will cover all the major food commodities and citizens will get items at a cheaper rate from utility stores.
