ISLAMABAD: The accountability court hearing the cases against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family continued its proceedings today.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had filed references of three corruption cases against Nawaz and his family in light of the Supreme Court’s verdict in the Panama Papers case.
Nawaz’s lawyer Khawaja Haris will resume his cross-examination of NAB’s last witness Imran Dogar.
Dogar shared details on Thursday of the NAB’s investigation regarding the ownership of the London flats and offshore companies.
Former PM is the unnamed owner of Nescoll and Nielsen offshore companies, Dogar revealed.
“The properties were purchased through offshore companies in someone else’s name [to hide ownership],” Dogar stated before the court while the NAB investigation proved that Nawaz was the owner of the London flats.
